Watermark · In your browser

A mark you place. A file that stays.

Falcon Watermark is a PDF watermarking tool that stamps a chosen text string across every page. Corner or diagonal placement, size, and opacity are configurable. The PDF is rewritten on your computer.

The unwatermarked PDF opens in this tab. The text is stamped on your computer; the watermarked file is the version that travels. By design.

Why this tool exists

A watermark is, by intention, the thing you stamp on a file to mark it confidential. Uploading the un-stamped version to a server to add the stamp is the part of the workflow nobody talks about. The “confidential” label is added to a copy of a file that was just shared.

When the watermark is applied on your computer, the sequence makes sense again. The un-stamped PDF opens here, the chosen text is laid across every page in this tab, and the stamped version is the first version anyone else encounters.

FAQ

Common questions

Is my PDF uploaded to add the watermark?

No. The document opens in this browser tab and the watermark is drawn onto the pages on your computer. A draft you are marking as confidential never has to leave your device to be marked.

Can I use text or an image as the watermark?

Both. Stamp a word like DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL across the pages, or place a logo image as the mark. Either is applied on your device as the new file is written.

Can I control how the watermark looks?

Yes. You set the opacity, position, and angle, so the mark can sit faintly behind the text or boldly across it, in the corner or on the diagonal. The settings are applied as the file is built.

Does the watermark appear on every page?

By default it is applied across the document so every page carries the mark. The watermark becomes part of each page's content in the exported file, the same as any other tool here applies its changes.

How your file stays private

Opens, parses, rewrites on your device. Nothing about the contents transits a Falcon server.

Zero logs

No filenames, sizes, contents, or per-file telemetry. Operation counts only.

Open the Network tab during use. Only first-party JS appears in the request log.

Metadata stripped

Authors, edit history, EXIF, and embedded thumbnails are removed alongside the visible content.
