I.In your browser · 2026

Your file is yours. The internet forgot this. We didn't.

Every step — merging, redacting, signing, converting — happens on your computer, in this tab. The file goes nowhere. By design.

II.Why we exist

Once a file leaves your machine, it is no longer your file alone.

Every PDF you have ever sent to a “compress” site travelled — across networks you do not control, onto servers you cannot inspect, through pipelines you cannot read. The contract you uploaded for a quick crop, the bank statement you ran through OCR, the medical scan you turned into a JPG — copies of each exist now, indexed, in places you cannot see and cannot reach.

This site holds a different position. A PDF you open here is a PDF that stays here — on your computer, in this tab, under your hand. The tools do their work in front of you and end where the file began. There is nothing for us to forget to delete. There is nothing for us to be asked to hand over.

  1. i.In your tab

The file is opened, parsed, and rewritten on your computer. The contents of the document never transit our infrastructure. Open the PDF, do the work, save the result. The file ends where it began.

  2. ii.Removed, not covered

A redaction is a removal of bytes, not a coat of paint over them. Author names, edit history, EXIF, and embedded thumbnails travel out with the visible content. The output you download is what the output looks like.

  3. iii.First-party only

The site loads its own code and nothing else. Open the network tab while you work. The only requests you see are the ones serving the page.

The artefact

A document, redacted in place.

The rectangles you draw remove the bytes underneath them — not painted over, removed. The original file never leaves your device. What you download is what your reader receives, and it carries nothing else.

№ I · A specimen — Falcon Redact

A stack of three cream-white papers, the top sheet bearing a chapter heading, an italic serif title 'On the redaction of private things.', and three opaque oxblood redaction bars covering portions of the printed body text.

IV.The network

Falcon Pdf is one shop in a network of privacy-first tools.

Rent receipts, salary slips, GST invoices, payslips, document verification — every Falcon tool runs in your browser. The same architecture that makes a Falcon rent receipt private makes every Falcon Pdf operation private. One promise across the portfolio.

The hub at falcon.enterprises carries the full directory, the privacy manifesto, and the verifier explainer.
